Robert “Bob” Thompson, Jr., 44 of Dundee, MI, died Monday, January 15, 2018. Born April 18, 1973, in Toledo, Ohio, he was the son of Robert C. Thompson, Sr. and Karen S. (Kruger) Ellis. He was a 1991 graduate of Bedford High School and then received his bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan. Bob was employed as a product engineer for Toledo Mold and Die for 18 years. He enjoyed Motocross and was an avid University of Michigan Fan.
Bob is survived by his loving sons, Alexander and Nicholas Thompson; former wife, Belinda Thompson; brothers, Scott (Samantha) Thompson, Vincent (Bradlie) Simon and Eric Simon; sisters, Carrie Meszaros and Stephanie Simon; step-mother, Cheri Thompson and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert C. Thompson, Sr. and Mother, Karen S. Ellis.
Visitation will be from 4-8 pm, Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, January 24, 2018. www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
